The Great Shift swaps a person's body with someone else's. It is unclear whether one person must be caught up to shift or both.

The Gender Shift works in a similar manner, but the original bodies are changed, not swapped. A swap still occurs, but a male will become a female version of themselves, while a nearby female will, in turn, become a male version of themselves.
