A handsome, smiling older man
You swing the door open to see a tall, stocky man. He has a muscular build and handsome face, thought with his wrinkly skin and silver hair, you can tell he’s in his 50s (and looking very good for that age). He waves and gives you a charming smile.
“Ah!” He exclaims, as if he was relieved to see you. “Hello there!”
“Um…hello there…” you reply, a little weirded out. “Can I, like, help you?”
“Yes…y-yes you actually can,” he says, peering inside and noticing Carter. “I have a very exciting opportunity and you two look like prime candidates for it.”
“You two?” You ask, a little confused, before you figure that he saw Carter. “Oh, right, never mind. I’m sorry but, like, we aren’t interested.”
His face has a more pressed look. “Please, I implore you to reconsider,” he says. “It could be…life-changing.”
Who the fuck is this guy? And why is he speaking in the vaguest terms imaginable?
