Mentally:
Your brain floods with “cleaning mode” thoughts: germs are everywhere and must be wiped out immediately! You feel anxious at even the slightest mess and obsessed with order and hygiene. Everything needs to be sanitized and spotless.
Physically:
Your body flattens slightly, like a living paper doll, and your edges become sharp and crisp. Your eyes narrow with focus, scanning for dirt. You move with quick, precise motions, always ready to scrub or disinfect. Your voice becomes a little sharper and more intense, like a cleaning drill sergeant.
(You’re frantically wiping a table)
You: “Ugh! There’s a speck of dust right there! It’s an emergency!”
(Someone nearby sighs)
Friend: “Terri… I mean, uh… you? Why are you suddenly so obsessed with cleaning?”
You: (determined) “Germs are the enemy! And I will not rest until everything is spotless!”
Friend: (laughing) “Okay, General Clean. Just don’t scrub me out of existence.”
